Character Profile Pt. 2

Name: Elaine Dirk
Age: 28
Description: Brunette, medium heighth, curved, bluish-green eyes (with little smudged circles under them), dresses like a professional on the clock, lives for sweatpants and comfy clothes during off hours.
Occupation: Third year as a probation officer.
Education: Major in Criminal Justice, minor in psychology, BA degree from Robert Morris University
Home: Oakland, with her 2 year old daughter, Waverly.
Favorites:
Food: Steak, mashed potatoes, red wine.
Music: U2, Bon Jovi, anything from the mid-80s
Movie: Pretty Woman

Notes: Waverly is the product of a former fling during her first year on the force- however, the breakup was mutual and Elaine is still on friendly terms with said ex, Daniel, who continues to see Waverly and pay child support (although he IS married with a new baby- important.) While her salary isn't exactly letting her live the high life, Elaine does work very hard to be happy with her little girl, but you can tell it is taxing on her.

Elaine also spends a lot of time psychoanalyzing her charges. Jared, though, she hasn't completely figured out yet.

Next time: Where exactly are we looking at? A rundown of various places, persons, things and phrases that'll most likely pop up in the book.
